Dixon Valve and Coupling acquires Arctic Steel

Arctic Steel, a supplier of stainless steel water strainers, has been acquired by Dixon Valve and Coupling Company (DVCC), a family-owned private business headquartered in Maryland, US. Arctic Steel manufactures and supplies a range of high quality cast 2205 stainless steel sea water strainers for commercial boats, military vessels, superyachts, sailing yachts and smaller pleasure craft. DVCC is a leading manufacturer of flow control products servicing customers across a range of industry segments including energy, mining, purity, steel, fire protection and marine.

In a company statement, Arctic Steel said it is excited by the acquisition as it will enable the Arctic Steel brand to continue to grow and expand under Dixon across global markets with a worldwide distribution footprint. It will also give existing and new customers access to increased stock levels and a larger range of quality marine products.

Arctic Steel will continue to be available through its distributor network. In Australia, Asia and Pacific region it will be sold through Dixon (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd. In North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Arctic Steel will be sold by Hydrasearch Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DVCC.
