Lüdecke coupling systems & fittings for food industry

In collaboration with meat producer, Wolf, and branch specialist, Altmann Industrietechnik, from Dachau, Germany, Lüdecke has developed an innovative system for thorough and efficient cleaning in the food industry. Specifically oriented towards the strict guidelines of the IFS (International Featured Standards) food certification, the system is geared towards high hygienic standards.

The system consists of an especially tested hose for each cleaning step and appropriate fittings. High class and inextricable screwings made of stainless steel 1.4404 were developed for the preliminary cleaning. It is made for a working pressure of 40 bar as well as operating temperatures up to 70°C.

The following cleaning process with clear water happens with an alternate safe, reusable and easy-to-handle quick-connect coupling system (with crimp connector). It is made of stainless steel 1.4305 and contains seals which are especially approved for the food industry (VO 1935/2004). The shape of the release sleeve is designed so that it still remains handy when the surface is wet or when wearing heavy gloves. The quick connect coupling system can be used with an operating pressure up to 35 bar (depending on the temperature and the way of incorporation) and operating temperatures up to 70°C.

Due to the usage of stainless steel, both products meet the strict requirements in the food industry. Dirt accumulation can be prevented because of the smooth surfaces and the free passage.
