Statoil awards EPCI & topsoil deals at Trestakk field

Statoil awarded an EPCI contract to FMC Technologies and Technip Norge, as well as Aker Solutions with topside contract for the Trestakk offshore oil and gas field in the Norwegian Sea in block 6406/3. The EPCI contract, includes subsea template, subsea trees, manifold, scompletion system, risers, control systems, wellheads, pipelines, control cable and marine operations, while Aker Solutions will contribute to the topside work. The production vessel Asgard A will be utilized and will be deployed at the Trestakk offshore oil and gas field. The contract’s work mainly consists of piping to connect the well stream to the vessel, as well as upgrading of the metering systems.

The Technip and FMC Technologies alliance will provide the integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract. Technip will supply the flexible riser, production flowline, gas injection line, flexible jumpers and umbilicals, while FMC Technologies will provide the subsea production system as well as tie-in hardware and tools.

Trestakk is an oil and associated gas field lying in the Norwegian Sea in block 6406/3. The field is located in production license PL091, approximately on almost 15 nautical miles south-east of Asgard A. The water depth in the region is estimated to be 300 m.
