Stauff expands its system for fastening industrial lines

German-based Stauff, an international developer, manufacturer and supplier of pipework equipment and hydraulic components, has announced that it is expanding its range of tube, hose and cable clamps for modular use with a special clamp body version of type cable hose connector (CHC) for guiding and fixing corrugated conduit hoses. These are commonly used on mobile machinery and in stationary hydraulics used for protecting and bundling electrical or other lines.

These corrugated cable protection hoses are designed to be held in place with a single, all-round rib in the clamp body. Provided correct installation, says the company, axial sliding of the corrugated hoses, which can cause damage to the hose or the contained lines, is significantly reduced even for vertical installation or under significant movement within the machine.

Clamp bodies of type CHC are available for the most common nominal corrugated conduit hose sizes from 10 to 48 as a standard. They are manufactured from glass-fiber reinforced polyamide and are designed to be resistant to weather, temperature and media.
