Trelleborg acquires U.S. coated fabrics operation

Trelleborg, a world leader in engineered polymer solutions including industrial hoses and hose assemblies, has announced that it has acquired U.S. company Laminating Coating Technologies, Inc. (Lamcotec).

Lamcotec, which has a head office in Monson, Massachusetts, develops and manufactures polyurethane-coated and laminated fabrics primarily used in aerospace, healthcare and medical industries. The acquisition complements Trelleborg’s offering and strengthens the Group’s position in engineered polyurethane-coated fabrics; the acquisition is part of Trelleborg’s strategy to strengthen its positions in attractive market segments.
